Incessant

Being incessant simply just works for some people!

  1. You guys might want to change your home page pic of a sheep tied up ready to be slaughtered. I know you are going with a Biblical theme, but to many Americans this is a turn off. Look up the term "Sheepel" Which means a stupid person who blindly follows a crowd. A lot of UBF's and perhaps West Loop's imagery might come across as acceptable to a foreign nationals, i.e. Korean, Chinese, Malaysian, etc. but to many Americans it comes across as weird! Food for thought guys! Later.... I really hope you listen to this wisdom. I didn't write it for myself. I already know it.

  2. Thanks, Anon! I didn't realize that the image is a turn off and weird to Americans. The singular reason I love the picture is that that bound innocent lamb awaiting slaughter is Christ----instead of me.

  3. This is my friend's comment that makes a lot of sense:

"My understanding of that comment goes like this.

    1. UBF has traditionally referred to newcomers as sheep. That word suggests someone who is incapable of taking care of himself and needs to be taught, fed, managed and directed by someone else. People from collectivist cultures might not mind being called sheep, but people from individualistic cultures may find it offensive.

    2. The image of a sheep bound and awaiting slaughter is ok if the sheep is a representation of Jesus. But in an environment where “sheep” is a euphemism for a newcomer, the implications aren’t very nice.
